Joy -- Life is worth living, worth loving, and worth taking risks!  this one makes me feel a bit of sadness, truth be told. i see a dying love lying on the cold, hard, wet reality of heartbreak, and on the long road to recovery. i see a heart left there after falling from grace, and no one bothered to care about it, nor care to bother about it. because of the colors, i see it as love and liveliness not coming back as it was. maybe it will be windblown to unpaved ground, and as it dies and decomposes, help to fertilize a new life and love.

(and i'm still trying to wrap my mind around "double entre" rather than "double entendre"!!! Whoa! I mean, you ARE a writer! And all this started with a leaf on the pavement..... God loves me.) (Hey! Look! The leaf is floating upward from the pavement!) Dearest Lauren - you certainly nailed this one. And the viewer wouldn't know it, but this heart/leaf was in a place where it was repeatedly run over by the tires of uncaring, oblivious cars. I stood in traffic to photograph it!
